Crate Paper Acorn Avenue & On Trend Collections
Next up for our Winter Design Team is Bev Code! Today's steal, the Crate Paper Acorn Avenue and On Trend Collections are two adorable collections. The 'Acorn Avenue collection' is more of a fall collection with colors and patterns to match. Bev chose the 'On Trend collection', which is full of bright, contrasting colors and patterns and she certainly did a great job on showcasing it!

Hi everyone, its Bev here with you today and I'm so excited to be sharing this Crate Paper On Trend Collection! It is is full of bold contrasts, fun florals, toned down collection of cream and black designs. What a variety to choose from to make crafting so fun and easy with so many alternatives. I started with this fun blue print and added the cream black patterns along with the pop of yellow.
Below in the close up you can see a few details. The punched borders in navy cardstock backed the photos. I then added lots of fun On Trend accents and stickers...a touch of twine, brads and some bling.
Next I lightened things up with fun floral and matching striped folded Chevrons, lots of layers, a banner with twine, a tag and stickers.
The close up shows fun details.
Now here is a cute tag with lots of ribbon tails.
Next up is the fabulous mix of black and cream patterned papers. Lots of fun layers, some punched, stickers, flowers, twine, butterflies, brads, some glittering bling and a thickers title.
This close up shows some of the fun clusters and many other accents.
I followed the same colour theme and then made this card...popped the floral with sentiment, added a banner, layeres, brads and some doodling.
On the last layout I grabbed the green print, a touch of chevron strips and lots and lots of sticker accents that made some really fun clustered sections. I then added some black outlining and more doodling.
Here is just one close up showing the cluster of stickers.
Now for the last project -- a fun card using bright and bold floral along with the black and cream print. A few sticker layers, some brads, and inking.
In this other view of the card you now can see it's an easel card...and the added punched border and floral paper makes the base to stand the card up.
As you can see I had an amazing time with this kit. All the color options, the numerous number of projects that I got made and oh yes...I still have some pieces left to play with.
Thanks for viewing today. I had a great time and am thrilled to be able to share with you!
