Basic Grey Curio Collection | Monday Card Madness #96

As much as I love bold, bright, graphic and fun, every now and again it feels good to pull out something with a touch of nostalgia, maturity and class. Today's steal, the Basic Grey Curio collection, is just that. Working with this collection makes me feel as if I might just get invited to High Tea and crumpets with the Queen — even if I am a 40 year old with purple streaks in my hair. :)

I really had a great time creating with this collection and decided to keep this week's sketch simple. I find that the simpler the better when mixing such intense paper prints. And you can knock out cards pretty darn fast too!

I particularly love the office tabs in this collection. I'm kind of addicted to tabs and banners right now, so embellishments that are self adhering and already decorated are an added bonus!

I also love the texture canvas tags add to a project.

I'm kind of excited with how these turned out! I couldn't resist working with the papers just a little more and whipped up a couple of layouts.

Such a classy, classy collection!

I can't believe yet another month has passed! This year is flying by a whole lot faster than I'm willing to acknowledge. And that means it's time to announce the winner of our July Monday Card Madness participants. This month our lucky winner is Melissa Dehne.
