You know, sometimes it truly *is* the little things that make the project. In fact the little zip that today's steal, the We R Memory Keepers, Corner Chompers, can add to your project is really quite huge!
If you are familiar with the big brother of the Corner Chompers then you know the Crop A Dile, and you know the incredible power and ease of the tool. The Corner Chompers have every ounce of strength, yet absolute ease of the Crop A Dile.
I'm sure many of you have experience frustrations with corner rounders either not punching properly through material or often leaving little notches of paper so that it's not a smooth curve. Not with the Corner Chomper! Every corner cut is a dream. And get this, not only do you get one design in your tool, but two since all of the tools contain two different dies for making your corners as snazzy as can be!
I love what a difference adding a nice rounded corner can do to a project. Such a simple way to create a whole new look and with the yellow handled tool you have the option for 1/8" or 3/8" curve and with the blue handled tool you have 1/4" and 1/2" cutting capabilities.
If you haven't had the chance to experience the media munching power of the We R Memory Keeper tools then you'll be delighted to know that the Corner Chompers can cut through multiple layers of cardstock, chipboard, thin metal and even craft foam like I did on this card. I was pretty excited to incorporate some of my kids' crafting supplies onto a card and get such a nice clean cut with the purple handled "scallop" cut.
On this card I jazzed up the corners by using "cloud" side of the purple handled tool. Small change but such a unique twist to "normal".
If you are a lover of photo corners then you will love the pink handled tool. I don't think I've ever been able to make photo corners with greater ease! And to think of the huge array of media that you could use to make custom corners is pretty exciting.
With Thanksgiving creeping up right around the corner I thought it would be fun to use the green handled tool and combine the "stub" and "deco" cuts to create table place cards.
I hope you have a great day and that you can find a way to take a chomp out of your projects in at least one of 10 different designs.
See you on Monday with a special treat for Monday Card Madness.
