Monday Card Madness #23 + Chalking Basics

Did you know that you can use chalk on your crafty projects? Today's steal, the Pebbles Chalk Mega Kit is the perfect collection to have on hand for adding a little color to your project.

Let me show you some simple steps for putting the chalking technique into action.

While it's entirely possible to use chalks by themselves, I prefer using them with Versamark ink which gives the chalk a little better hold to your project.

After adding the ink to the top sides of my shapes, I used the stylus and pom poms included with the Pebbles Chalks to add color to my project.

I love how easy it is to customize the colors on a project with using chalk.

One of the things that I love about the Pebble's chalks over any of the other brands I've used before is the two-toned color palate. This takes the guess work out of what colors to use to add dimension to your project.

I also used the two-toned technique in creating the layered flower on this card.
