We all have a love story. Whether it be your husband, boyfriend, friend, parent or child, there is someone special in each of our lives and today’s steal, Love Story by Fancy Pants is an amazing collection of love-themed scrapbooking papers where graphic meets fancy and whimsy meets unique. This collection is filled with something for everyone on your love story list.

With Valentine’s Day upon us, rather than a providing a sketch, this week’s challenge is to simply create a Valentine. That way not only will you be one step ahead of the game tomorrow but you will be increasing your chance to win this month’s Monday Card Madness drawing! (If you follow the directions below).

I had an amazing time creating with the Love Story collection and was pretty shocked at the end of my Valentine making binge that I had six completely different looking cards. Oh how I love me a collection that is so versatile!

With the first card that I made, I honestly couldn’t decide which papers to use, so I decided to create a heart window and fill the hole with small strips of different sheets of paper.

Next I couldn’t resist using some of the trim and rubons in combination with the stickers. Oh, and I even pulled out my deco scissors circa 1996! I actually love the little addition to the heart and it felt great putting my old tools to work.

A favorite part of any Fancy Pants collection is the sheet of “cards” that are easily cut up to finish off a card quite nicely.

Then of course you can’t dismiss the darling rub-ons. I think this particular Valentine will be given right to my little 4-year-old snuggle bug.

The Fancy Pants transparencies are always amazing as well. One card I used the hearts transparency die cut as the focus of the card, while another card I actually cut a transparency sheet to card size and it became my card.

If you haven’t made your Valentines for tomorrow yet, then now is your chance! Lots of ideas to help you springboard your own creation and of course we’d love to see what you create.

As far as being eligible for the February random Monday Card Madness drawing, all you need to do is complete any (or all) of the Monday Card Madness sketches, post your creation to our fan page or your own personal blog, then leave a link on this blog to that creation no later than 11:59 PM MST on Friday, March 2nd, 2012.
