Carta Bella Paris Girl | Mid Week Mojo

Today’s steal, the Carta Bella Paris Girl Collection, is perfect for this time of year! It has all the colors and patterns for capturing your favorite Valentine’s Day photos. It is also perfect for those little (and big) girls out there. Today’s guest designer, Kassandra LePage, shows us just how super cute this collection is, with a great sketch to inspire us all!

When I was asked to be a guest sketcher at first I was shocked then so thrilled! Then came the ‘can I do this?’ There have been so many amazing scrapbookers on here, I didn’t think I could compare. But I got to thinking everyone has such different styles and strengths, what did it really matter?
When I found out I got to work with Carta Bella’s Paris Girl, I was even more excited because this line is so gorgeous. When I got it in the mail I was even more amazed with the texture and quality of the paper. So I really wanted to feature the paper in my LO. So here is what I came up with.

I titled it ‘My Love, My Valentine’ and put the letters on all the rosette’s i made. Let me tell you, making all those rosette’s took along time but I think they really show off the paper well.

I love doilies and they always remind me of Valentines, so I wanted to add one in.

I thought the ticket stickers that came with the set had such cute sayings on them, that I just had to use them as well.

The 6×6 pad of paper is the same quality, and is also stunning! I just had to make a card with it! Here’s what I came up with.

Carta Bella Merry & Bright Collection | Mid Week Mojo

The Carta Bella Merry & Bright Collection has so many gorgeous papers, stickers and embellishments, you won’t know what to use first! It has fun, bright papers and patterns and it really is perfect for girls and boys. The coordinating chipboard accents, layered chipboard, and decorative brads really do finish off the collection perfectly. Here is this week’s sketch (a little different from the norm!) – hope you like it!

I think I managed to use almost every little embellishment! I just LOVE the bright colors and patterns.

Carta Bella Alphabet Junction

I love what Fall Design Team member Liz Qualman has done with today’s steal, the Carta Bella Alphabet Junction collection. This collection is bright and colorful, and comes with so many papers, chipboard embellishments, and brads. She definitely rocked it!

Looking for some adorable children’s scrapbook collections at an unbeatable price?  You need to check out the Carta Bella Alphabet Junction collection at ScrapbookSteals.com today!  It has the most wonderful textured cardstock and patterns that are perfect for the little guys and girls in your life.  I made this fun, bright page about my little guy.

There are super cute sentiments and fun patterns to document your memories like this preschool photo of my son.  I really liked how there were plenty of places to hand write my journaling and how the texture of both the paper and the chipboard helped me avoid smudging.   The miniature stitching on this sticker is a wonderful detail.

I especially love how coordinated the cardstock stickers, chipboard pieces and patterned paper are in this collection and how they work together in clusters.  I used the alphabet stickers to make the title and then continued the sentiment with the cardstock sticker phrases.

It’s fun to use banners as a design element and make each of the embellishments part of the effect.  I cut banners out of some of the cardstock paper and then I snipped the ends of the cardstock sticker phrases to complete the banner look.

I thought it would be fun to use the Alphabet Junction patterned paper and stickers to create a more mature card.  This Delightful Stripe patterned paper used on the flip side with the XO pattern made a great focal point for the design of this romantic card.

The cardstock stickers are from the Carta Bella collection, but the clear stickers are from Little Yellow Bicycle.  I used two of my Martha Stewart punches to make the border and leaves.

This card took very little time and is focused around one of the alpha cards.  I added the chipboard title and the cardstock banner sticker to pull it together for a fun everyday card.

Love how the chipboard pops off the card and the light pink is such a fun color and contrast to the darker pinks in the papers.
