Bo Bunny Mini Albums

Boy do we have a treat for you today. Not only do we have a huge variety of amazing Mini Albums by Bo Bunny offered as today’s steal, but three of our fantastic employees have so graciously taken the time to create the albums to show you some ideas on how they can be done.

Tracey Condie did an amazing job with the “Dad” chipboard album. She sent me a disclaimer stating that she has very little scrapbooking experience and has just started making cards. I think she’s a natural and did an amazing job on the album and it will be a true keepsake for years to come.

Brittany Perry totally rocked the acrylic flower album. She did a great job creating a masterpiece with the different see through layers.

And lastly we have a true gem from our dearly loved Melodee Cloud. It’s always a special occasion when we are treated to some of the craftiness of Melodee. She did a spectacular job with the chipboard “Mom” album.

I’d like to extend a huge thank you to these lovely ladies that have taken the time to share their talents with us. Not only are these Bo Bunny mini album options unique, but they are elegant, whimsical and fun.

Don’t forget to check in tonight for our online crop. There’s always a bunch of fun and giggles to be had. See you tonight at 6PM MST.

Welcome Guest Sketcher, Lisa Zubritsky | Mid Week Mojo #45

Welcome Guest Sketcher, Lisa Zubritsky | Mid Week Mojo #45

I just love guest sketcher weeks! Not only do I love the little break that I get to replenish my creative juices, but I love being treated to the talents of one of you, our loyal friends and fans. I was thrilled when Lisa Zubritsky accepted the invitation to our guest sketcher for the month of June. I think you’ll agree that she totally rocked today’s steal, the Bo Bunny Flower Child collection.

Take it away Lisa…

I feel like each guest designer says the same thing:  “When Kristy asked me to be a guest designer, I was so nervous and excited!”  I promised myself I wouldn’t say the same things — but, I can’t help myself! I am so nervous and excited! Hubby, of course, thinks I am nuts, but I will just pretend in my head that I am famous for one day!  To be able to live up to every past designer, AND the fabulous Kristy Lee herself takes some guts. I had to dig deep down inside, create a mojo sketch, and just sit and hope that everyone loves it as much as I do.

When Kristy asked if I wanted to work with Bo Bunny, I was a little hesitant because I had never even touched a Bo Bunny paper in my short scrappy life. However, I am glad that I pushed myself out of my comfort zone and chose the Flower Child line because I truly love what I created with it. If you know me, you know how much I love bright colours and embellishments. I can never get enough!

With all the fabulous elements offered in the package I wanted to emphasize just how many elements that it comes with. I chose to focus on the amazing flowers that it comes with because I don’t think you ever have enough flowers. I also wanted the layout to be somewhat linear, but still have a whimsical feel to it. I went a little crazy with all the different embellies — it comes with so much! Flowers, buttons, bling, chipboard, cardstock stickers — you name it, this kit has it!

I also created another layout and a simple little card.  The kit is very unisex so you can easily use these colours on both boy and girl layouts.

I want to thank and everyone that I have met here over the past year. What an amazing community of women giving inspiration, encouragement, advice, and lending an ear when I need it. And thank you, of course, to Kristy and Melodee for this amazing opportunity. Words cannot express how grateful I am for this and I will never forget it.

Thank you so much Lisa for sharing your amazing talents with us!

Bo Bunny, Jazmyne—Monday Card Madness #32

Bo Bunny, Jazmyne—Monday Card Madness #32

I hope you all had a lovely Mother’s Day and had a great excuse to get a little crafting time in for yourself or your mother this weekend. If you ended up with a little extra scrappy money to spend, (or just need a great excuse to add some more scrappy goodness to your stash), then you’ll love today’s steal, the Bo Bunny—Jazmyne Collection.

I don’t know if it is the gorgeous plums and greens or if it is the amazing array of embellishments, but it sure made making cards for this week an absolute breeze.

The embellishments for this collection really mapped the way for my cards. I just love the springtime, feminine feel of this collection.

It was such a treat over the past week to see cards popping up on our Facebook page which were crafted for Mother’s Day.

I love that Stephanie Umpleby got her little helpers involved on these cards for Grandma.

And I love the color scheme and paper flower on this card by Kristin Hoffart.

I can’t believe it’s been another month of card making for all of us at ScrapbookSteals.

We’d like to shout out a  huge congratulations to Kelly Marks, our lucky random winner for the month of April.

Kelly, if you can please send us an email to, we will be happy to get a prize sent out to you.

I know a lot of you have been asking if you could participate in another card swap. Our first one was such a great success that I think it’s time to get our second card swap organized.

Here are the details:

  • Create 10 cards of any variety, signed on the back (we all want to know who made what)
  • Cards must include envelopes
  • Mail the cards to our warehouse, to be received no later than June 3oth. (ScrapbookSteals, ATTN: Card Swap, 2181 S. California Ave., #400, SLC, UT  84104)
  • Email me at once your cards have shipped so that I know whose cards to be on the lookout for.
  • I will then swap the cards and return cards from 10 different artists to you.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask!

I hope you have a great Monday. Be sure to check in at 9am tomorrow for another great How To’sday, this time by Charity Becker.
