Teresa Collins Life Emporium |Mid Week Mojo Gardenia #3

Gardenia – Week 3 of 10
New to Mid Week Mojo?  Get started here

I love this collection.   Teresa Collins’s Life Emporium is a beautiful mix of color and texture. Cork Stickers & dots, vellum stickers, rub ons and wooden dots, not to mention the thick, textured papers are all things that would make a collection a favorite of mine. This collection, however centers its theme on gratitude. A perfect sentiment for this time of year, but add the pretty pastel colors, and the bold navy and you have something special. I decided to use some pictures of my oldest for today’s Mid Week Mojo her beauty matches that of this collection.

Here is the layout:

Here is the sketch:

When I first saw the papers I was obsessed with the woodgrain that had the overlay of flowers. The woodgrain is so reach and full of texture, but add that bit of flowers and wow, beautiful. It looks like they were stamped right onto a real piece of wood.

The pack of tags included in this collection is great as usual and perfect for adding journaling or even using to create a mini album. The chipboard pieces add dimension as always and match the sentiment of this collection perfectly.

Blessed doesn’t begin to describe how I feel about my girl. Using the cut apart paper to create the title made it quick and easy. Adding stickers (with pop dots), buttons, rub ons (yes I said rub ons) adds a little interest to the layout.

See that butterfly? That’s a rub on! I’m quite excited about the come back rub ons are making.

A big congrats to Kim Cheladyn, you are last week’s winner!

Bo Bunny Snow Day | Monday Craft Madness #35

I know a lot of us out there are mourning the end of summer, but I for one am totally excited. My favorite time of year is Autumn changing in to Winter. I love it when it snows, but just a little. I can feel it coming here in Utah and I am excited. Today for Monday Craft Madness I used Bo Bunny Snow Day to create some cards to have on hand to help me celebrate everything I love about winter ….. So today’s theme is:

Cards

Create some cards to have on hand to celebrate your favorite season. Here’s what I created:

Bo Bunny always has such great patterns inside of patterns on their papers. You would think the rich colors and designs are enough, but there are also swirls and florals in the corners and down the sides.  I’t just one of my favorite things about Bo Bunny.

My other favorite thing about Bo Bunny is hands down their embellishments. So many to choose from, you can’t choose just one. Brads & chipboard to jewels & trinkets and everything in between; you just can’t go wrong with a collection from Bo Bunny. Here are some close ups:

Doodlebug Designs Happy Harvest | Mid Week Mojo Gardenia #2

Pansy – Week 2 of 10
New to Mid Week Mojo?  Get started here

Warm colors, warm clothes, cold weather, it all adds up to autumn time around here. All of these things remind me of family and the  Doodlebug Designs Happy Harvest Collection brings out all of those feelings.  For today’s  Mid Week Mojo I used a family photo from the Fairbanks family. Super cute new little family.

Here is the layout:

Here is the sketch:

You can’t really find much cuter out there than Doodlebug Designs. Their bright, fun colors and their cute whimsical designs will stand the test of time. Since their color palette is used throughout all of their collections, you can choose products from any and all fall designs and it will go together seamlessly.

I changed one of the Simply Put Album Inserts into a tag to add a little bit of journaling.

The sticker borders are great and the intricate design adds some elegance to any project.

The package of mini flowers are so quick an easy to make, I got a little obsessed with them. I love the look of them all around the layout.

I used some pop dots on a few of the flowers and then added the doodle pop stickers and the flair buttons to add extra dimension.

A big congrats to Emily Aurora, you are last week’s winner!

My Mind’s Eye Just Sayin’ | Monday Craft Madness #34

As I was trying to think of what to make with  My Mind’s Eye Just Sayin’  I came across a blog post from My Mind’s eye and a project created by the wonderful Amber Packer. She used this collection to create a full alphabet wall decoration. (Check it out here) I loved how the papers looked on the letters so today for Monday Craft Madness I decided to do something similar. I love creating things for co-workers and one of our staff recently had a baby girl and I thought this collection would be perfect for the little princess…… So today’s theme is:

Princess

Create something with a princess theme, about your little princess or for a princess in your life. Here’s what I created:

I love the bold glitter (and it didn’t get all over my craft space!) and the dark and pink colors of this collection. The hints of blue throughout the collection are a great contrast. Check out the letters up close.

It took less than an hour to cover all of the letters and add some embellishments for this project.  Go to your craft store, pick out your favorite letters and make something fun.
