Gardenia- Week 1 of 10
New to Mid Week Mojo? Get started here!
I was thinking the other day, as I am sure we all do, that my kids have grown up way too fast. When we scheduled My Mind’s Eye Jubilee as our steal today, I thought it was the perfect collection to do a tribute layout to my kids. Finding these photos of my kids about 10 years ago just made me smile. I decided to use them for today’s Mid Week Mojo I could see their future in their eyes in these photos and I love the people they have all become.
Here is the layout:
Here is the sketch:
I decided I wanted to use the 3×4 journal cards in this collection for the background. I chose a few of my favorites and then filed in the holes with some of the fabulous patterned papers. As usual, the die cuts in the mixed bag and the adhesive chipboard pieces are perfect for embellishing your projects.
When I saw the journaling card that said, “this is the good stuff” my kids were the first thing that came to my mind. They are really the good stuff that my world revolves around.
This patterned paper also already contained a good quote. I have always wanted to teach my kids to find an adventure and live with no regrets. I think they have grown into just those people; courageous, adventurous, and strong.
