Rose – Week 2 of 10
New to Mid Week Mojo? Get started here!
I am ready for Spring. I have had enough of cold weather and snow around here, can you relate? I love today’s STEAL Echo Park Splendid Sunshine. It made me believe Spring may in fact be just around the corner. For today’s Mid Week Mojo I used this picture of Liam, a co-worker’s son, because it matches my sentiment perfectly. He is ready for the sunshine, while still warm in his hat.
Here is the layout:
Here is the sketch:
The bright colors in this collection made me smile. I love the bits of pink throughout this collection, and I also love me some alphabet stickers. So, I had to use them both.
The sticker icons are just the perfect touch to bring a little spring into my life. Of course, I used my favorite pop dots to create dimension with the stickers.
Normally I don’t take the time to fussy cut, but I thought the cloud paper in this collection was just too cute. The cuts were easy and the shades of blue pop off the layout.
A couple of pop dots under the clouds makes dimension here too. It reminded me of sitting in the grass finding shapes in the clouds. Oh, to be young again!
