Rose – Week 1 of 10
New to Mid Week Mojo? Get started here!
For the first complete Mid Week Mojo series of 2014, we decided to change up the theme a little and go for flowers instead of gems. With love in the air this month, we thought Rose was fitting for the first series. Teresa Collins’ Save the Date Collection is perfect for all of this mushy love feeling going around.
We were able to attend my sister-in-law’s wedding last summer in California. It was a great celebration as she finally found the love of her life. She called me last week to see if I would put her photos in an album for her. Perfect timing for today’s Save the Date collection. This is page one of the forthcoming book.
Here is the layout:
Here is the sketch:
This collection is printed on a very cool textured paper, not the normal texture found in scrapbooking papers. While the paper’s feel and design are so cool, the embellishments are my favorite part of this collection. From Tags, buttons and brads to wooden pieces, chipboard and transparencies, the possibilities are endless.
I love all of the different variety of textures and types of embellishments. I barely had to use my pop dots this time.
Now I am just hoping my sister-in-law printed pictures for me in these sizes!
