Today we are thrilled that Candace Zentner is back today to show us what she created with We R Memory Keepers for the Record collection

Hey everyone! Candace here from Scrappin’ 2 Little Princesses! I have been totally neglecting my scrapbooking lately, so as soon as I received the For the Record Collection by We R Memory Keepers, I knew exactly what I was going to do with it!

I love the colors in this kit so much, but I have three little girls who LOVE pink and purple (it is a total GIRL world in this house! My poor hubby! ;) ) and my first thought when I was project brainstorming was how I was going to take this kit and make it girly! Turns out, it really wasn’t that hard!

All it needed was a couple very simple white daisies!

I loved all the patterns in this collection so I wanted to try to show a lot of them on this layout. I cut all the circles, daisies and title words using my cameo.

I added a couple of the embellishments (sticker and chipboard piece) plus some sequins and it came together super easily!

I loved playing with this kit so much that I immediately wanted to make a second layout. The yellow chevron pattern screamed “school bus!” to me, so I decided on a Back To School layout for my daughter who started Kindergarten recently.

I am so tired of using primary colors for Back To School layouts… These colors are so fresh and fun!

I used a die and some hemp twine to make my banner and a simple school bus cutting file from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons. By the way, this paper cut amazing in my Cameo! Love that!

The chipboard letters that match this collection are soo fun and sparkly!! They made the perfect title on my layout. I was also a huge fan of the washi tape stickers. This was such a fun collection to play with!

I hope you liked my layouts today! Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks Candace!  I love how you think outside of the box and create ‘girly’ projects from not so girly papers.
