There are times every now and again that you just need a snow day, and today, that would be me. It’s kind of ironic that today’s steal also happens to be an exciting new welcome to the ScrapbookSteals’ offerings of manufacturers, Snow Day by Crate Paper.
This time of year can be crazy busy and it just so happened that all of my holiday events and major obligations and daughters 17th birthday party all happened to fall into one weekend! I was having a bit of panic about coming up with a great sketch for today when it dawned on me, why not take a “snow day” and see if my Crate Paper lovin’ friend would help me out. Brenda Smith so graciously offered to create the sketch for this week using today’s steal, and wow―I’m so glad she did!
I adore this collection. I love the purples, blues, yellows and browns. What a perfect combination to bring a smile to any snowy day!
I love how Brenda mimicked the stitching of the “Happy Winter” die cut throughout the rest of her card. Totally worth a snow day for me since this card is amazing!
Brenda, I really cannot thank you enough for helping me out today! I tell you what. How about payback with a layout made for you for this week’s Mid Week Mojo. <3
The card swap cards are starting to trickle in. So exciting! I also realized that this time of year is equally as chaotic for you as it is for me, so I’m extending the dealing for this card swap so that hopefully after the madness of the holidays you’ll have a little time to take a breath, then create with all of the goodies that Santa will hopefully be placing under the tree.
Here are the updated details of the card swap.
- This card swap will not have any particular theme.
- The only requirements is that you send TEN cards with envelopes to be received at the ScrapbookSteals warehouse by February 16th.
- Cards can be sent to this address:
