If you are a lover of My Mind’s Eye, then today’s steal, the Mega Paper and Embellishment Bundle is one you don’t want to miss.

I’m typically a collection scrapper and don’t find myself mixing papers from different collections too often, so I had a blast working with papers from four or five different My Mind’s Eye collections for this week’s Mid Week Mojo.

I was very excited when one of our amazing fans, Jennifer Collins sent me photos of her and her hunny to scrap. I couldn’t believe how perfectly the photos worked with papers from so many different collections!

I was also excited to use a technique that I’d seen on a layout by another one of our fans, Brenda Smith. I loved how she rolled different colors of papers to create a unique and colorful border.

I used the same idea to create a border on this page for Jennifer.

I also decided to do some slightly non-traditional photo sizes for this week’s sketch. I don’t know about you, but more often than not I take photos with some distraction in the background. By cropping a regular 4×6 photo down to 3.5 x 4.75″ it’s a great way to use up some of those photos in a more visually pleasing way.

This sketch also allows for a nice-sized journaling block. When Jennifer receives her layout she will be able to record all of the smooshy feelings she has for her husband, or maybe she can even get him to write her a little love note!

Last week was such a treat to see all of the layouts using Staci’s amazing sketch. Our lucky random winner for a little scrapbooking goodness from last week’s sketch is Kathy Sims!

Congrats on your win Kathy! Please send us your address to service@scrapbooksteals and we will send out a little scrappy something to you.

We are now nearing the end of another amazing 10 weeks of Mid Week Mojo sketches. Don’t forget to be eligible for our Sapphire Club prize that you must complete all 10 of the Sapphire Club sketches (#31-40), and have them posted somewhere online such as our Facebook Fan page or your personal blog. Your Mid Week Mojo must be posted no later than Monday, April 18th at 11:59 pm MST.

Have a great day and scrap happy!
